Founder of Cacti Security LLC — Colorado Springs, CO
I'm a cybersecurity student at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a strong interest in network security, ethical hacking, and helping people stay secure online. I started Cacti Security because I wanted to build a company that helps small businesses improve their security without making things overly complicated or expensive.
I take a hands-on, practical approach to every engagement. No 200-page reports nobody reads, no jargon designed to confuse — just clear findings, real fixes, and honest pricing. I'm building this company the right way: through real work, real clients, and real results.
Where I've applied and sharpened my security skills.
Hands-on IT support in a live enterprise environment. Supporting network maintenance, system updates, and security for internal users. Working with real infrastructure using tools like Microsoft Intune, Azure, Active Directory, Splunk, and ArcticWolf — not just a lab.
Competed nationally in one of the premier cybersecurity competitions in the country. Identified vulnerabilities, hardened system defenses, audited information systems, and secured network configurations under competitive conditions.
Led a cohort of cybersecurity students through hands-on labs focused on systems hardening, vulnerability scanning, and compliance documentation. Managed projects aligned with NIST Cybersecurity Framework standards.
Hands-on experience with tools used by real security professionals.
I work with small businesses to find real vulnerabilities and build real defenses — honest work, clear results, no inflated invoices.
